I think we have enough, if not too many "beautiful" people already, running around with little to offer other than just that. With the advent of Tumblr, it seems like there are only beautiful and perfectly proportioned people on our radar of interest and on our planet these days. (Yes, I know, I just looked outside. Humor me.)

 

I'm sometimes concerned that the threshold for beauty and looks in peoples day to day expectations is becoming something most of us can never achieve for ourselves with boyfriends and girlfriends, and, instead of finding true, loving, and trustful relationships, we are damaging the ones we have, or could have, looking for something that most of us will never find. Or, really want, after the fact.
