Have any of you actually seen "Photoshop" in action to create a falsified

image?

One escort showed me a picture of himself on his computer, which he intended

to use for advertising. He also had the "Photoshop" program, which I had never actually never seen in action.

Did you know that "Photoshop" has a specialized tool for narrowing the waistline? I was amazed. In a split second, the escort gave himself a digitized liposuction job and made himself look skinnier than he actually was.

In my opinion, he didn't even need to do this...but he showed me how it was possible to easily manipulate his own digitized picture.

Have you met up with many escorts who show up with a few extra pounds,

or whose hips or limbs don't quite look like their picture?

Okay, did you really have to ask this question? :p

Another way to pose the question:

Have you met up with an escort that showed a perfect six-pack in his photos... but answered the door sporting the beginnings of a budding beer belly??

Well, I have been in that "this buds for you" situation... and I am sure quite a few others here have as well!

Smaller waist anyone?

The Liquify Tool is for cheaters. Using it is the mark of an amateur. Under many circumstances, the results can be identified by professionals, because pixels get mushed when you use it.

Now, granted, escorts never post large images of themselves, so why worry about things that only show up in large image sizes?

Yes, Photoshop is a powerful program. For those of us who have been using it for 20 years, we already knew that.

it's called the liquify button. a person can change any shape of the body. I had a photographer once as a client. He told me he had a escort that he photographs that's 60 years old and that he has to do some Photoshopping for

Yes..so many times I can't count. Sometimes it is a matter of them using photo-shopped photos, and sometimes it is a matter of them using old photos or ones when they were pre-contest (body building) either way it is very frustrating for me. I give myself 15 seconds to assess the situation. At that point it is either thumbs up or thumbs down. Thumbs down, and I walk.

Photoshop often doesnt take a keen eye to detect. Unless you are born in, and have been living in a cave, or unless the perpetrator of PS is EXTREMELY adept at it (which most arent) the doctored pics should be detectable to a naked eye. Photoshop is a VERY effective and useful tool, unless it is used to deceive, and thats the point of the OPs thread. As has been discussed many times on this board, if you feel you have been deceived by your hire, or ANYONE, its your job to deal with it accordingly and walk away from the situation. If you make a conscious choice to follow thru, there is noone to blame but yourself. Photoshop didnt force you to lie down and give up your ass to an escort, and then hand him his reward.

bcohen, I'm dying to know...are you making air quotes with your fingers each time you say "Photoshop"? :p

When I'm deceived by falsified escort photos, I simply photoshop some ten dollar bills into hundred dollar bills and call it even. I keep them ready for use at all times!

No requests, please! :p

I work in the Graphic Arts field and have spent many years using Photoshop. Most doctored images are pretty obvious, as most escorts aren't pros with that tool. When I see odd looking proportions or perfect skin tone with absolutely no texture, in know it's a doctored image. Photoshop can enhance what is already there, but when you try to make the image something it isn't is when it looks fake.
