go to Google and type your search and select the "Images" option or after your search term type :image

Sorry, I meant, if I already have the image and I'm trying to find out where it was originally. For example, I see some people say, "This ad is a fraud, I searched on the pics and found out that it was from XYZ escort."

Same sort of thing—have the pic on your desktop, open Google Images on a page, and then either drag/drop the image into the Google Images dialogue box or hit the "Upload An Image" button and walk through the steps. If the image is found in other places—this may mean that the image was "borrowed" by someone. It doesn't always mean this though, so look for a real name, etc.

See below...hope this helps.

BC

1) drag the image to your desktop; remember what is named, or rename it to

something like "FindthisImage" if your desktop is crowded;

2) go to google

3) type in "google images"

4) you'll see a tiny picture of a camera on the right side of the middle

search bar. It's hard to see--most people miss this.

5) click on the camera

6) an option list will pop up saying "search by image"

7) go three lines down and look to the right where it says

"upload an image"

8) click on this

9) then click on "browse"

10) all of the icons on your desktop will roll up

11) select the one you are looking to research (e.g., "FindthisImage"

12) if the image is findable anywhere else on the internet within "google images,"

you'll find it.
