I didn't call him arrogant. I didn't say anything about his selling skills.

 

If I was in need of a real estate agent for a million dollar property, I would hire him. What one might see as arrogant in social setting, I find as confident in a business setting. And being nice on the eyes would be a bonus.

I'd prefer to have him represent me as a seller. I wouldn't care for him as a buyer's rep.

 

...I watch the show fairly regularly, and I don't fine him arrogant at all.

There are many especially in this Market that DO NOT come through! "Only the Strong Survive" Gimme a break!

 

High End NYC RE People do not work from Paycheck to Paycheck!

Who cares what the producers choose to put on the show. The guy has $1.25 Billion in total sales - that's like he's earned over $25 million in real estate. Who cares what he lost!

 

And I've know several former multi-millionaires who spent it all, wastefully. They just couldn't seem to stop dropping $300K here, $250K there until there was no more dough.

I have a number of close friends in the real estate field. It truly is a tough profession. They are either multi millionares or paupers. The smart ones have to budget for "rainy days" (been a lot the last couple years). It is apparent BVB has been involved in this profession for a while and knows what he is talking about. I would trust his advice totally when venturing back into real estate.

I was under the presumption that Bravo had not acknowledged his former porn career in the show. Sounds like I could be wrong about that based on your response. If so, I stand corrected. Has his work in porn been addressed on the program. Just curious.

Fredrik's porn career was mentioned often on the "reality" show. I believe Fredrik's rival, Ryan, talked about it first & then a lot. By the last few episodes, Fredrik himself talked about his porn career on two Andy Cohen Shows on Bravo. I believe Fredrik also talked about it on "Million Dollar Listing: NY," but not sure.

Seems to me Ryan outted him as a gay porn star to a client over whom they were competing. It was a desperate attempt by Ryan to land the deal, but I think I remember Fredrik got the client.

Bravo’s favorite real estate agent is a father.

 

“Million Dollar Listing New York” star Fredrik Eklund announced on Tuesday that he and husband Derek Kaplan welcomed twins via surrogate.

 

“Happiest moment of my life. Welcome Fredrick and Milla to the world,” Eklund, 40, captioned the Instagram announcement, complete with a picture of the happy couple smooching while holding the baby boy and girl.

 

A rep confirmed to Page Six that the twins arrived on Tuesday.

 

The new development has been a long time coming for the couple, whose struggle to become parents has been captured on the luxury real estate show. Their surrogate’s miscarriage of twins in 2015 was talked about on the series, and in happier times Eklund later revealed that the couple of four years were expecting on the most recent season finale.

 

Kaplan, an artist, has one child from a previous relationship.

 

On Thanksgiving, Eklund described their excitement, expressing gratitude for their surrogate.

 

“So thankful… most of all to our surrogate, she’s become family through this,” he wrotelast week. “At night I put my hand on her stomach and feel Milla and Fredrick kicking & we can’t wait to finally welcome them home….”

 

I'll bet he used a surrogate just because he didn't want to ruin his figure.

I spent a small part of my work life dealing with realtors. Sweden is my favorite European country, but not Fredrik. The show needed a strong contrast to Ryan, and Fredrik provides it. Let's agree though that some of the show is fake, probably much more than I realize.
