Hi All,

There's been quite a lot posted about paying the escort's going rate for going out to dinner, etc. I have no problem with paying for the escort's dinner, but I have a slightly different question about paying his hourly rate for the "event". Suppose you've already booked an overnight with this escort and the dinner precedes the overnight as a way to start the evening. Would it be appropriate to change the hours of the overnight to include the dinner time, i.e. start earlier and end earlier the next morning?

For me, an overnight is always 12 hours, say 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. That allows for dinner, a relaxed evening, sleep time and breakfast. I would never agree to anything less at an overnight rate.

This 8 hours business, as has been sometimes reported on this site, is ludicrous. Eight hours is sleeping only. What's the point of that? If your guy won't agree to 12 hours at the start time you choose, I would move on. And, on an overnight, there should be absolutely no clock-watching.

I agree sf westcoaster. Twice recently I did and overnight and a 3 hour. In both cases in my emails to the escort I made it VERY clear that I would love to take them to dinner first, BUT the dinner was not to be part of the hire time. As an example on the 3 hour hire, I specifically mentioned that dinner was at 7 pm, which meant we would arrive back at the hotel at around 8 PM, which then I mentioned the 3 hour session would then go to 11 PM, and then asked him to confirm if that was OK. He confirmed and there wasn't any problems.

On a recent overnight I asked what time of day he would like to start the overnight, he mentioned 7 PM, I said then let's do dinner around 5 PM and then start the session at 7 PM...as sf says, never assume anything. Make sure you are crystal clear on timing and your expectations. AND make sure that through the communication that he understands.

Once and awhile the escort won't specifically answer your question, if I think that he has avoided the question, I will ask it again, and be more direct, letting him know that I need a direct answer.....good luck.

Louie, I should have been clearer. The overnight is plenty long enough. It's just that I'm an early eater.

I assumed you would be eatting as soon as the 2 of you were behind closed doors and HIS pants came off ? ;) I would be ! Haste makes Waste.

Thanks Steven for bringing the thread back to informative and fun. I do overnights the majority of time with my favorite guys and they know that dinner is definite (time depending on situation) and included in financial consideration. No problem and enjoyable by both of us. After all, we both have to eat (food on a plate)

Wow. I wonder how well that attitude serves you on an overnight encounter.

I am kinda on the fence here. Although I have NEVER done an overnite and am probably not qualified to comment, I feel the arrangements MUST include some FREE time for the escort away from the client, but aside from that time the client would be in the Drivers seat and set the schedule and activities. Afterall, as we keep hearing, when you hire you pay for the escorts TIME, so shouldnt you decide on how that time is used ?

Okay, I can see on a weekend or longer: there should be free time. Not so much on an overnight, which is paying for "dead time" mo mater how you cut it.

Bottom line is that time frame, activities, fees and what is actually expected should be worked out beforehand. Dont ever assume both parties will be on the same page or have the same idea of how the session should/will turn out. That actually goes for an hour, and over night or a multi-day booking.

"Take that! I'm paying you. You SHOULD do what I'm asking you to do".

I would never bruise or leave a mark (I wasn't asked to) on a beautiful body :)

You guys are just too funny! Okay, I'll clearly and completely settle the issue with the escort himself. I must admit that I hope he'll adjust his overnight time frame to match my eating times, but, if he doesn't, I'll be fine. I'm not a "must eat now" type, and I don't eat that much anyway.

I agree gallahad...an hour or an overnight is not a lot of time. Like I mentioned before, I always make sure that it is clear that dinner is not part of the hire time during those short hires. Everyone needs to be on the same page with that. However, on a weekend hire, I allow an escort time to himself, perhaps in the afternoon hours, to check messages and contact those on the home front. Dinner in those cases I feel SHOULD be part of the weekend hire time.

I actually had an escort split a two hour hire in half, because he was pre-contest and needed to eat like 6-7 times a day. He was up front with that and said, "Let's go get some dinner and when we get back we will do the second hour" I thought that was very fair. The break in the action was actually a nice relief.

Or you could just take him to dinner with no hire, right Steven. :)

btw, hope you enjoyed visiting my hometown and hope you come back again.
