Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino famous for Jersey Shore fame, will be heading to Rehab while Snookie prepares to become a mommy.

 

Mike admits to substance abuse issues that need treatment.

 

Do you think Fame too fast is a factor, or is this just the person he is ???

 

No surprise here. They could probably ALL need some treatment with all that boozing and partying.... :cool:

Fame can be a serious problem when thrust on people unprepared for it and in this day and age where we elevate to FAME status some people who are no different from next door neighbors, well,. these problems ensue. Mike "The Situation" had both the show and last season's "Dancing with the Stars" and other celebrity things and then the rumors about his sexuality -- I think it was only a matter of time, but now that the show is OVER (thank God), I ope the entire Jersey crew have time to restore their lives to "normal"

They are ALL coming back for another Season, reportedly... in addition to certain cast members spin-off shows (Snookie, JWOW, and Paulie D)

His rep is saying that it is not true. He is just taking a long need rest at an undisclosed location.

 

LOL, now if that doesnt say REHAB, I dont know what does.....

Is Mike Sorrentino that important that he needs a representative to speak for him? OK I take that back. After trying to listen to this man make sense when he speaks, I see why he needs a spokesperson. Methinks his ego+sundry hangers-on + who knows what GLT (read: Grey Goose, Liquor, Tequila) might account for a "needed" rest. But the question remains: Rest from what?

LOL I have a cousin right now taking a rest at a undisclosed location. I hear in his case it's county jail with no bond

I am reminded what Mammy always told Scarlet O'Hara (Gone With The Wind): "Don't you go hanging 'round that white trash!". Mr. Sorrentino, and his ilk, are exactly why I do not watch "reality" television (or reality anything). Life, in and of itself, is real enough...

Electra, as a Reality TV junkie I can honestly say that I dont believe Reality TV has the remotest connection to anything REAL. If what you see on Reality TV was real, our society would really be Doomed.

Exactly. I have enough exposure to mean or self-defeating people already. I don't need to spend my time watching more on TV.

After a lot of back and forth, it seems The Situation really does have, well, a situation. Although he initially denied a TMZ report that he was in an in-patient program for substance abuse, "Jersey Shore" star Mike Sorrentino is now coming clean. In a post on his personal website, he writes, "I want to set the record straight. I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion. I have spent the past several weeks getting treatment for this problem and recuperating from my work and appearance schedule. I appreciate my fans support and love you guys."

So am I the only one who thinks that Mr. Sorrentino is worth a role in the hay?....I don't want to analyze him, I just want to do him...I'd hit that!! No one said he is gonna move in, I just need a couple of three hours. ;);)

He's a good looking guy, and seems nice enough when he's away from his friends. So yeah, bring on the hay!

Would not surprise me if he is gay. He is also rumoured to be...ahem...let's say on the small side. Even so, I would "do" him just to have a look at those abs.

Thanks rguer for that..made my night. I agree with you and EZE...I would love to have a couple of hours with that body...Ok ok, I am a little shallow, but oh what fun that would be. I think he is damn sexy, and hey I have slept with guys that clearly had more problems than he does. LOL

Well now that one is Preggers and the other one is Allegedly Cleaning Up...they have out lived their "Entertainment Value" on this Show.

 

I'm thinking the Producer's are looking for New Roomie's already... These 2 Sober especially Him must be boring as hell to watch! :rolleyes: Mike definitely ain't getting any prettier!

they said on showbiz tonight xanax and ambien, but his father is also saying its not the first time in rehab he was there 3 years ago for substance abuse. His father thinks it started when mike moved to jersey to live with a brother
