A pretty cool video. A bald eagle is hatched

Richmond has been logging in and watching a cam which has been placed just above a nest of bald eagles. Momma laid the eggs (2) about 5 weeks ago and today the first of the eggs hatched. A pretty cool video of the baby eagle hatching is out now.

 

It really is something just watching the cam of momma eagle sitting on her eggs. Through a snow storm a couple of weeks ago, she stayed put, protecting her eggs.

Very cool! We have a webcam covering a nest of bald eagle's in my area (Raleigh/Durham NC) as well - 2 eggs hatched in January.
