I've long been of the opinion that the language and attitude are all wrong whenever he mentions the wife/gf and the daughter. For starters, it's always an after-thought. He has to be prompted -- goaded, even -- to bring up the subject. Then, it's always *my* daughter, or *my* baby. Never *our* daughter. When the baby was born it wasn't "It's a girl" or "we had a girl", it was "I had a girl!".

 

He might just be a self-centered prick, or it could be a vestige of his macho-latino background, but it's consistent enough it smacks more of either ownership or employment.

 

Or a beard arrangement.

That was a role that the looks of the actual person and the actor were so close that it was scary. I'm not a big sports fan, but in his Olympic days, I never missed a broadcast that Greg was in--including the time he hit his head on the platform. Saw him a while ago on some talk show and he still looked so good.

I would bet that just about all of us here have had a "thing" for Mario Lopez since his "jail bait" days... though his stint on Pacific Blue... to the present. He certainly has "aged" quite well...

My "gaydar" has always pegged Mario as one of us. I've been wrong before, but my gut says he will come out someday (perhaps long after his acting days are over).
