A "friend" >>wink wink<< >>nudge, nudge<< and I are going to Flarida for a week. He suggested I ask here how he should be paid:

Upfront?

Day by day?

At the end?

I like the "day by day" thing. It would get some smaller bills in circulation.

I know this has been discussed, but I don't know where.

HELP!

I had a question on this prior to going to Palm Springs last March. I ended up taking the cash in large bills and paying my guy near the end, but with enough time that he could deposit it into a PS branch of his bank

The thread was "Carrying large amounts of cash" Just put it in the search area on the upper right hand corner and it should come up

Thank you, gentlemen. I like the idea of a moderate amount (on other threads, ca. 2007, it was suggested 1/3 at the beginning) and the rest at the end. Bravo. We're traveling on the same airplane (adjoining seats), so meeting up is not an issue.

As with any man of the professions, payment is tendered upon services rendered.

Not quite entirely, Sir Robberbaron4u. Some "cosmetic" surgery requires pre-payment. And remember: You pay for your car BEFORE you turn it in.

It does depend a bit on how good of "friends" you are. I know for PS last year I paid both of my guys before hand. And I will do so before PS this year. It takes a lot of luggage to carry all those trading stamps. :)

If this is someone you know and trust, I'd have no problem doing it before you go. But I do know others pay afterwards. But the thought of having that many "trading stamps" around makes me a bit uncomfortable. But there really is no "right" way -- it's whatever you and your friend are comfortable with.

Now having a few extra "trading stamps" at the end for a tip would certainly be reasonable.

Of course, he could deposit the funds in a branch of his bank where you are going. IF there is such a branch. I remember a few weeks ago driving around DC trying to find a "friend" a branch of his bank (he was from SF) in DC, all to no avail.

one well-respected client on this board writes trusted escorts a personal check upon return from a trip with them....

I had a previous Gentleman Caller, now (fortunately) in a Loving and Caring relationship, who, after our First Visit, told me a check would be fine.

After all, it's for consultation, isn't it?
