Thanks Epigonos. Let me share what I know.

 

INNDulge is already completely booked for the weekend so you can forget that.

 

I stayed at Terrazzo last year with (Ryaan and Dane). Nate Bruno stayed there as well. A very nice place. More low-keyed than a lot of the clothing optional resorts. It used to have a website, but in looking I couldn't find it either. I don't know what is going on there. I would certainly consider staying there again.

 

I know quite a few attendees stayed at East Canyon last year. I think at least one is considering returning again this year. It was very well thought of by the guests I spoke with. But it is not a clothing optional resort.

 

I'm actually looking at either Triangle Inn or Helios. They are certainly a bit more on the adventurous side of the clothing optional resorts, especially Helios. I know Ace and jjaction69 stayed there last year. We visited and had a great time visiting. I know it's Ace's go-to place in PS.

 

Ace and I are trying to figure out where to stay (even though he isn't my escort for the event, we will probably end up at the same place). One possibility would be if any others would be interested in a house. There is a 4 bedroom house at Triangle Inn that is part of the compound but still separate. If any others would be interested in joining in, let me know ASAP.

We are also trying to find out about Helios and should know more in a day or so.

I am not sure you studs need some other washed up old fart there with all the prime beef strutting around. But if I do cum, I was thinking of renting one of those Enterprise panel vans with no windows. I am sure I can buy an air mattress at the local Target......UM!

Palm Springs

 

The LA Times travel section on January 13th had an article on Palm Springs. I am just now getting to it!

But, they review several hotels and restaurants. One annoying aspect of the story is the way they locate the various entities- by districts that I have never heard of! One hotel is in the "tennis club district." Another is in the "design district." Sure, we have a downtown, but an uptown? News to me.

 

Oh well. I'll see you in the Oliver Pool Event District!

Good eye, RockHard. I hadn't paid much attention to that. We are looking at 80 degrees in Palm Springs today, 84 tomorrow. It looks like those temps will hold at least to the upper 70's for Oliver's Grand Arrival next week.

Palm Springs High School's marching band will greet him, along with a military flyover to commend the tourist dollars he brings to our local economy. Openly gay mayor Steve Pougnet is being kept away from the ceremony lest he try to horn in on Oliver's escort hires. OK, so I didn't have anything else to write about! :) We're just excited to see him return.

Hey LBT...I have been thinking about going for awhile. It is only a hop skip and a jump down the 15 freeway from me. Think I will take the leap, and have some laughs along the way. Any suggestions for lodging. What is Helios? Would love to be able to connect a face with a screen name. At least in the future all of this would not be so anonymous.

Anyone who may be interested in staying at Helios Resort, thanks to some long-standing ties, our brand spanking (there's an idea) new EOY, Ace, has arranged a deal for forum members. This is sort of cut and paste from his email to me so forgive any formatting issues:

 

Friday & Saturday will be at their regular rate, & Sunday will be offered at $90.

They are having one their INFAMOUS parties that Saturday as well.

A Continental breakfast is included (MORE than decent), there's a grill we can use as well....AND the playroom, etc.

In order to lock in this special rate, mention "Ace" & ask for Murray or Scott..

I leave 7 weeks from tomorrow. Time is a fleeting.

I am trying to smooth this over, but they are Southern boys and the hospitality thing is always first and foremost with them...LOL looking forward to it being a great weekend...

Last year I spent part of my time with friends and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I spent at East Canyon with my guest. You are definitely making the right decision staying at Helios. Have fun. I'm sure we'll run into you
