Gay votes in Louisiana

Don't know if you heard but Louisiana just elected a Democratic US Senator Saturday. National news credits the black vote with the victory and they certainly came through. What was not mentioned was the fact that the Louisiana Gay populace got very involve. Both through campainging and donations.

It made my day to read the headlines about that election. "There's everything in the world but hope" is a line Hepburn says in The Lion In Winter. I now believe she may have been wrong. Thank God.
