Thanks Steven for the photos. Beautiful. Did the food match the view?

 

Even though the view was excellent, as was the company, the food exceeded my expectation. As a starter I had oysters, then the succulent Turbot (flat european fish) and I finished with the warm chocolate cake accompanied with some red beetroot sorbet to cleanse the palate (sic)! Everything was delicious.

My fat cells are crying out "YES! YES! YES!" Actually, it sounds like a rather abstemious birthday meal to me - nothing particularly caloric about turbot or oysters. Now that cake, well that's another item entirely. I trust you worked it off on the dance floor!
