I received the following question in my private mailbox, and the answer got to be so long that I thought it may be good fodder for the forum in general. Here goes:

>Thanks, Daddy. I have the same suspicion. Can you give me

>examples of what you consider to be leading questions and

>inappropriate responses? Thanks for all your work here.

First, understand that I have no legal training and that this only an opinion.

Well, here's probably the most famous one that has been discussed through out the years. "Have you quit beating your wife?" Of course, the inappropriate answers would be: 1) Yes 2) No In either case, most people would feel compelled to provide additional information that they may not want to disclose. The problem is that the question assumes a condition that may not exist.

Another hypothetical situation: If someone was to walk up and ask "How much would you pay for a blowjob?", the only reasonable answer would be "I wouldn't pay for a blowjob!". and then if they were to ask "Well what would you pay for?" your in a strange situation, where any positive answer could be construed as a willingness to break the law. Again the problem is that the question(s) assume that your willing to be a party to an illegal act (at least in most jurisdictions). By the nature of the questions they are both connected.

What I advocate is that you do not break the law, and that you immediately terminate any conversation that attempts to discuss performing illegal acts. Of course, the specific law(s) are different in different jurisdictions. But I should point out that the 1st question is illegal in most jurisdictions.

In my case (and I'm probably in the minority), my expectations when I hire an escort is that a) They will be able to show or discuss their locality and point out "What's Hot and What's Not", b) Provide intellectual stimulation, and companionship, and c) Be a boost to my ego. (Most mature gay gentlemen get a tremendous boost from have an attentive stud muffin doting on them)

In most jurisdictions, this is legitimate as my expectations are well defined and fit within the law. The only thing that I'm paying for is their time and companionship. If anything further happens, it's because two consenting adults mutually decided to do so. On the other hand, if nothing happens, I'm not the least bit upset because I still got my ego stroked.

My experience is that about 80% of the escorts genuinely enjoy providing the services that I ask for. I've also found that the remainder tend to not be worth the effort.

Case in point, the last time I was a Las Vegas I had a gorgeous companion, that showed me the best restaurant, the best show, EVERY Gay bar in the city, and the majority of the places that are fun to cruise. Was it worth the price, I paid? You betcha! He was Kind, Caring, and dedicated to having me sample the very best that the "City of Lights" had to offer. I will treasure the memories forever.

Let's not forget that with the passage of the Homeland Security Act, most particularly Total Information Awareness, the government now has the legal authorization to spy on every one of us, build a profile and bring us in for questioning if we fit a certain profile.

Guys,

What I'm about to say is "Daddy Intuition", and should be taken with a grain of salt. I don't believe that a problem exists, and it may be completely my imagination.

I've noticed over the last month that there has been a series of what I would call "Leading Questions". These are open ended questions that would tend to gather answers that provide more information that you may want to provide. I'm not going to provide any examples, because as I said, it may be just my imagination going crazy.

I just want to remind you, that while we go to great lengths to protect your privacy, This is a public forum and is monitored by various legal groups. In the last two months, there has been what I consider a increase in this monitoring. The average is up from 2-3k hits a month to 7k hits for November.

So please, if you are replying to a "Leading Question", consider carefully your answer. Of course, as a site we DO NOT advocate the violation of any law (i.e. Escorts are paid for their time and companionship only). However, if your not careful in your reply, it can be construed as something completely different.

Just as a reminder, here's the posting guidelines:

o Focus on the situation, issue, or behavior, not the person.

o Maintain the self-confidence and self-esteem of others.

o No personal information (as defined below)

o No potentially libelous statements

o Tasteless or offensive posts may be removed

o Absolutely no posting pictures of underage kids (We do not tolerate pedophiles)

o People who persist in not following the guidelines may have their membership deactivated

o Lead by example
