Just got a question about Rentboy.

 

If I have an escort on my hotlist, and he turns off his ad because he's traveling, will he show back up on my hotlist when he turns his ad back on?

I couldn't replicate your problem. I created a guest account on rentboy (and was a bit shocked that it asks for my first and last names-- why would they need that? Granted, one could easily be John Doe, but off-putting nonetheless), hotlisted my escort ad and hid that ad briefly (set visibility to "no"). The ad still appeared in the guest account's hotlist. Perhaps as opposed to turning his add off while traveling, your escort in question let it expire, in which case I suspect whether he reappears on your hotlist depends on whether he reactivates his old ad or simply starts another.

A couple of the guys on my hot list have disappeared and magically re-appeared later, so I guess it happens as you describe.

I have experienced the same thing as Buzz. In my case, I searched for the missing ads and they were seemingly gone and then showed up a few months later.

Ditto - escorts I know or who are listed on my HOT LIST can have the ad disappear (when they travel or fail to pay the fee) and then when they are back in the area or pay the bill, it appears again.
