at Carnegie Hall a few years ago during a performance of Rossini's William Tell given by Opera Orchestra of New York... two guys in chaps and the whole deal... with one of the guys having "Mr. Leather Fire Island" emblazoned on the back of his leather vest.

 

That is hilarious! And also fucking hot. Stories like that remind me why I still love NYC (even though it isn't the same as it was, it's still NYC).
