Ok, I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I'm gay. Please hold your shock. The thing is even in spite of being gay, I think in general I have a good handle on female beauty as I'm sure many of you do too- although the fixation straight guys have with extremely large breast pretty much escapes me. Don't get me wrong, I can acknowledge a nice figure- but Dolly Parton or larger- I don't see the appeal- although I guess if we turned it around and said big masculine pecs-well I can understand that definitely.

 

But I was 'facebooking' with a female friend the other day, and she said she wanted collagen injected into her lips. I said why. And she said most guys loved big lips. Now I don't understand this at all- those bee stung looking lips leave me cold. Do straight guys like them because they are subconsciously thinking about being given head with those lips- or is it because it puts them more in mind of the labia. What do all of you think-are big facial lips attractive to you?

Personally, I think big lips (all in proportion) are attractive. Julia Roberts comes to mind. I think she's the epitome of beautiful lips ... and no, I'm not straight.

Collagen injected into the lips sounds like a painful experience. I wouldn't do it and probably no need to.

I'm kind of a fan of Glee's Chord Overstreet's big lips. And no, I'm not straight.

I have seen men with slightly oversized lips that were attractive, because they were attractively shaped. I can't remember any famous ones offhand.

 

With women, I stop finding them attractive when they get to the Angelina Jolie stage. (I remember someone referring to hers as "a sheep anus, about to deliver a pellet...")

Thanks for responding guys. I guess maybe I should have defined my terms better. I was thinking more of Angelina Jolie size lips or larger as opposed to Julia Roberts or Chord Overstreet size lips.

For me it all depends on how it looks in context with the rest of the face. sometimes it fits and looks sexy, other times it could look artifical and "cartoonish". Kissing a full, juicy pair of lips is always heavenly, but then again it all depends on technique as well.

 

Ther are always so many variables to EVERYTHING. Thats why people are so indecisive.

Lisa Rinna is the usual example of botox overdone, and she readily admits it was a mistake.

 

In Hollywood, the culture is so heavily centered around "doing" yourself that nobody even notices what someone has had done. Worse, they get so used to "that" look (beause it's all they ever see) they don't recognize what going too far looks like. They just keep going back for more.
