I know that nobody cares where I've been but I have been feeling a bit under the weather and have been taking time to get over what I have. I kid you not...I went on a giraffe feeding encounter at the zoo and I think that animal gave me some type of rare giraffe/human hybrid disease. ok...well it's not that serious

and in my free time, i have been watching TORCHWOOD:MIRACLE DAY on STARZ. i am telling you the writers for that show are awesome. bringing back a series and rekindling excitement when you only have 2 "characters" from the tv series left alive is a miracle in itself!

Hope you are feeling better now?

I added STARZ to my cable subscription for a couple of months just to watch Torchwood: Miracle Day (Spartacus was an added bonus.)

I have enjoyed it, but this week I started to feel that it's dragging on a bit too long. I may have to re-watch this last episode - I was getting drowsy at the end.

I'm also enjoying The Big C and have been watching the re-runs of The Vampire Diaries for the first time. How's THAT for eclectic!

Hey cursor.... this will teach you not to go to the zoo alone, at least not without a favorite companion to watch over you!!! But feeding a giraffe? I can think of many other animals that I would love to feed more than a giraffe... but I do understand that the male of the species is very well equipped to handle the distance involved in servicing the female of the species. Can you enlighten us on that topic, gcursor?

PS... I too am enjoying Torchwood... and loved Spartacus.... almost as much as Rome and a couple of other period series !!

Very nice work seeker! I think i've downloaded some episodes of the VAMPIRE DIARIES but never gotten into them yet. I'm currently being entertained by other things currently. I'm finally all caught up with TORCHWOOD and now I know why I hate watching current TV series...because you have to wait a week for the series to continue! I used to watch WEST WING religiously but I would wait for the dvd set then I would rush through the episodes and then stop 1 or 2 dvds before the end so that I could be in a good spot to wait for the next season to start...

Diverdan, actually I didn't go to the zoo alone. I took my nephew. I didn't feed the giraffe but he did and I filmed it. But you bring up an interesting point that I've raised before and never got an answer to...

I mean how do giraffes have sex? It seems very implausible to me. Maybe they just "pop" into existence from wherever? It's just like honeybees. I don't think bees or birds have sex either. What about frogs or zebras? What about marmosets?

Rome was great - as was Deadwood.

Did anyone here watch Justified? I thought it was a good show as well, and Southland, which has a gay character, but his sexuality is incidental.

Well, Cursor,

Giraffes do indeed have sex... they are a bit ackward, but they get the job done. Next time you go to the zoo, ask the zoo keepers about it. They probably have some very interesting stories to tell !!! Depending on the age of your nephew, he might enjoy knowing too. And, all the others you asked about also have sex too... it may be hard to see the honey bees when they are mating, but I have watched birds, zebras, elephants, lions, etc., and they all have to same approach... the penis gets inserted !!! I suspect there may even be some videos on YouTube on this, but have never bothered to look. I have watched horses mate, and that too makes for an interesting visual. I am glad you had a great time with your nephew, and that you are ok and back to being yourself again. I don't know what we would do without you, and that is a compliment, not a dig!

Glad that you're feeling better after your "jungle" adventure.

Remember You can't keep a GOOD man DOWN unless he wants to be. That kinda goes along with your giraffes fucking question, I guess!
