I recieve on average 15-20 emails a week asking availability on specific dates from potential clients traveling into my home city looking to set something up. Then I get the "I will contact you as soon as I know my schedule and where i am staying" reply. And of course never hear from them again. And you wonder why escorts dont reply to your emails as quickly as we should.

What's your point? I would assume that this is all part of the escort scene. When you get the reply that they will recontact you when they know their schedule, you DO NOT confirm the appointment and IF SOMEONE ELSE wants a DEFINITE TIME you book it. If the "will contact you later" guy then wants that same time, you reply that you booked a "defenite" appointment and that he should try for another time.

I know that this is a very frustrating situation but it is the same thing when escorts receive email requesting specific info and the escort replies with " call me when you get in" without answering any questions. All have responsibilities. Those are what makes for a good escort and a good client. Unfortunately, many fail in that department BUT it's all part of the business.

Ah, so a response in return such as, I will get back to you on wether I have those dates available or not; is acceptable

I sure don't want to put my foot in my mouth, but I am one of those who sends an e-mail in advance of a trip. I try to give as much notice as possible about dates but I am also trying to get a sense of the escort in his reply. If I don't get any reply, the decision is easy and I move on. Not all escorts have web sites, where some of their personality is visible. But being new to hiring escorts, (have done it once and plan to again in two weeks) I guess I try to get as much info as I can. I will reply to any message that I get from the initial inquiry and for the upcoming trip have exchanged two or three mails with the three guys I am thinking of spending time with over a two day period of play. My question to you Michael would be, am I to send a message to the others that I have decided to pass on for whatever reason (affordability, body type, etc.) and tell them so? I haven't booked them, just asked rates and availability. If their reply only answered the questions but gave no sense of interest or seemed cold, I passed. Do I tell them that? The three I have decided on seem to be exactly what I am looking for type wise but more importantly, they seem to be people, and I get along great with people, even when I start out nervous.

Boy, that was flowery. (Unlike the good writing of our friend Flower.) What I meant was, what can it hurt to simply hit the reply button on the email in question and say a gracious no. Would seem to make you more a person than a statistic, and therefore not play into the kind of coldness you're complaining about.

Point taken. Thanks. Didn't mean to sound like I was complaining. My instinct is to reply. In this and other threads, there are often statements by escorts about the amount of time they spend on e-mail and their dislike for it. Also, Inadvertantly I responded in another thread in a way that could cause Michael to be offended and didn't want to make that mistake again so I wanted to be careful. I wanted to open a dialogue with him on this e-mail reply issue since it's something I had questions about. I have since privately apologized to Michael for any offense I may have caused.

Thanks for your appropriate observations
