Yahoo! Calendar acting up

I flew from Chicago to Washington, D.C. yesterday and I updated my Yahoo calendar and (silly me!) I changed the time zone from Central to Eastern time zone.

 

As a consequence all my appointments that I have scheduled moved one hour behind. What did I do wrong?

I travel all the time and that has happened to me-you should have an option to set your time zone from your current location so it corresponds-try that?

Did you also set your laptop's time zone?

 

I don't use Yahoo's calendar, but a LOT of calendar apps always offset appointments from the current OS time zone setting.
