Who Are We~???

 

Why is "marriage" a part of our government ruling at all? Should it not be about providing legal privileges to domestic partnerships at whatever level of domicile and leave the marriage part to each couples religious choice? Now we have Gay divorce~ Consider that~

Has the constitution been replaced with keeping up with the hetero joneses?

Hetero "marriage" should perhaps not be the standard by which we follow but perhaps we might consider to abolish the concept of government involvement "marriage" altogether, absent of religious preference and inevitably strive for equal civil and government provisional rights???

Are we to be the new "slave" advantage that Lincoln started with over the south? (He got the idea in the end historically but how many years has it taken to really BECOME more then the ideology???)...

We should perhaps strive not to be the political ploy for government party advantage but stand for what is truly equality as our forefathers fought so hard for~ ?

While we have "marriage" we now have the hetero legal dilemma of divorce~

Think about it... while government proposes to be about "for the people by the people", in the real today world... there is the element of economy, local or global or otherwise~

Our gay marriage falls into that how??????

Our government acceptance of gay marriage is providing us with what???

Is the slave free only to strive for privileges for the next 100+ years? Think Rosa Parks~? MLK? How far was that beyond Lincoln's grand scheme of things, even when he got it right?

What is the political agenda for this here and now in the sites of government? How do the supporting parties profit?

We are obligated as a community to wonder~

Are we the political trendy convenient agenda or are we the real Freedom thing?

Are hetero marriages the real thing?

What should we really be striving for together as citizens of a free nation?

Do the antelope run off the cliff with the buffalo just because the buffalo are running off it, being run off it? or do we proclaim our gay selves as being citizens of a nation and state who are deserving of government provision equal to hetero provision, any privileged civilian couple, regardless of religious natures?

The hetero divorce rate is nearly 1 per two... 45% average perhaps~ How are we different? do we have the same or more obstacles within gay marriage?

For gay couples, what does that mean to the courts, government thru taxes, insurance companies, economy thru businesses and health issues, life issues, children issues, family issues? Who gets that revenue? The gay community, the gay couple foremost? ...or is it shunted over to other means?

Is hetero marriage legal and constitutional??????? gay marriage as well~ Is it? or are these specific coupled partnerships something different that government provides means for above others~?

Should we strive for that same means??????? Strive simply for our OWN equality? What is the ethical decision?

Because the slave was granted non slavery in order to diminish the economic attributes of the south in order to win the war over the confederate sttes, does that mean we have to follow the political/economical value today in suit?

Are we striving to become the new politically accepted elite/advantage group just like the hetero religious semi-quazi constitutional hybrid we see today or are we striving to be equal citizens for all and fighting for equality beyond our own agenda? Equality~ Freedom~ Civil Rights and provision mutually among couples as they are~

Who are we as the gay and contributing political and economical community?

Are we simply "gay" or are we first and foremost citizens of our nation, the united states of america, who struggle and strive for a nation of constitutional democracy beyond party preference and religious restraints ?
