I vote for Dominic. Eye candy way down on that show this year.

so do I.....when he gets gone so do I. This year's show is absolutely dreadful and Jeff and Brandon are both idiots....Rachel is completely absurd.

Jeff's Homophobic Rant

And when Jeff opens his mouth and talks he says things like this:

Jeff comes across as the "nice guy" on the show, surrounded by crazy people. In last week's episodes, he wnet after Kalia and treated her in a highly disrespectful way, over a minor incident. The video you posted helps understand the backstory: Kalia called Jeff out on his blatantly homophobic comments.

The video itself was kind of shocking, and I shared Kalia's surprise that an educated, apparently reasonable person like Jeff would say such ignorant and hateful things. (Jordan, his equally "nice person" girlfriend, sat by without expression as Jeff spewed hateful statements.)

Everyone should watch the video asap, before CBS censors it. The BB guests are talking about J.K. Rowling's bombshell that Albus Dumbledore, one of the most heroic figures in modern literature, is gay. Jeff says Rowling was wrong to make the headmaster of a school gay, because you just cannot trust little kids being sent to a school where there are gays. (Yes, and the female students would be safe at a school where there are straight men.)

Kalia and the much-criticized Rachel (and others I did not recognize) expressed astonishment that Jeff would harbor such ignorant and vicious stereotypes. Jeff blows up at Kalia et al., accusing them of being politically correct, while he (Jeff) is concerned that kids should not go to a school run by the gays. Etc.

This is a teachable moment. J.K. Rowling has written an extended series of highly popular books whose overriding theme is diversity and tolerance--and it makes complete sense that Albus Dumbledore is gay (he does have quite a fashion sense, and his pet bird is a "flaming" phoenix). No one could have run Hogwarts more effectively, no one was a better mentor to young (and heterosexual) Harry than Dumbledore, and no one could have helped Harry more in his campaign against the Unmentionable Lord than his gay mentor who reminds one of Leonardo da Vinci.

Down from soapbox. I hope Jeff is booted sooner rather than later; he is a toxic person at some level. (I fear that he is going to get far in the game; with the continual implosion of Brandon and Rachel, he or Jordan are probably the favorites to win, ugh.)

I haven't watched the show since the year of the appalling Evel Dick and his self-absorbed daughter. That did it for me. I have found other things to do that strain to listen to people whispering about "immunity" and "head of household."
