A new trend called "Glamping" - camping + glamorous, where one hires a luxury rv, a driver and makes pit stops at spas and fancy restaurants while seeing the monuments of America.

Prince Pavlos of Greece, his wife, sister-in-law, and five children are seen glamping in the U.S. Southwest in the recent "Town and Country" magazine.

Last winter NYTomcat had a great idea to rent a houseboat with a group of escorts and clients and leisurely motor down some river. I'll have to see if that thought is still in the back of his mind. The only thing is, what if you don't end up getting along with your date. Is it "Man overboard"?

That sounds like fun. I don't know about eight in a RV + a driver, it's a bit of a squeeze, but why not pack up an RV with Catering and a few good bottles of red, and skip the fancy restaurants altogether?

Campfires and toasted marshmallows, and some nice port.
