Young street hustlers in Gotham City

I think this must be another first for comic books. In the latest issue of Robin, #107, Robin (Tim Drake) is riding with a friend when he spies two people tussling in an alleyway. Makign a quick excuse, he ditches the friend and switches to Robin. He finds a naked man tangling with an attractive blond haired kid, demanding the kid's clothes. Robin drives the guy away and then turns to the kid....

 

"Dammit, Snuffy, you promised you were gonna quit this!"

 

Snuffy: "Wha--? No, Robin, man, this wasn't no business. I was just sittin' here havin' some----uh, sittin' here restin' and this guy come at me outta nowhere--buck naked tellin' me he wants my clothes! I told him to get lost, and he totally went off on me, whatever he on, they oughta make it illegal!"

 

Robin:" Mmmhm...You know him?"

 

Snuffy:"Never seen him."

 

Robin: "So, Snuffy, you're out of the "Hospitality" game now?"

 

Snuffy: "Oh yeah, Robin. Totally."

 

 

Like they ever really get out of it...lol.

BewareofNick, I haven't purchased a new comic book in ages. Is this ROBIN series any good? I did read about the GREEN LANTERN gay story, but I haven't had a chance to pick it up yet. By the time I do it will probably be worth fifty bucks!;-)
