For those of you Glee fans out there. Any thoughts on why Kurt's character ... who was, in my opinion, the stand out star of the first season, seemed to be relegated to the background this past season? Sure, he had a few good moments in the season, but more often than not, he just wasn't around.

On another note ... for those of you watching "The Glee Project" on Oxygen. Did you catch the opening sequence this past week as they were recapping last week's episode. My partner and I were sitting down for dinner and almost choked laughing so hard when they said, "And speaking of bottoms, Alex and Matheus ...." Too funny! (And probably over the heads of most viewers!)

The usual complaint is that "the gay one" got too much story line.

Actually, I assumed it was because he wasn't a student at MHS for most of the season. The show is still, ostensibly, about the MHS "New Directions".

Well, according to reports, the "gay one" got fired, along with Finn and Rachel...... Ba-Bye.....

There have been tons of reports about it, but none used the word fired. In fact none actually said they'd be leaving the show. They'll be graduating. It would really be strange for someone to have been fired and still be around for a full season.

Among other things, Cory Monteith is pushing 30. It'll be getting harder and harder by the year for him to play a HS student. Curt Colfer is producing a movie. (They're shooting a crowd scene and called for extras in LA for tomorrow, I think.) He also has a deal for a children's book. Lea Michelle can walk right back onto Broadway.

Glee won't exactly be the last of either of them.

There's also been some nattering about Chord Overstreet being fired but that didn't happen either. Rather, he was not promoted to series regular. He's been a guest star all along, just like Dot-Marie Jones (Beiste) who is emmy-nominated for her guest starring role.
