Finally caught up with this summer flick. Anybody know if Chris Hemsworth, who plays "Thor," sells it on the side? The body of a total God. The character is arrogant most of the time, but has a soft and cuddly side, too.

It's long been gossiped about that Mr. Hemsworth followed in the footsteps of such notables as Sylvester Stallone and Rob Lowe and started out in porn. However, since no footage has ever surfaced, I think it's sadly just wishful thinking, or was perhaps a Jayne Mansfield style publicity stunt.

 

Chris has certainly appeared partially clothed in several Sean Cody type shoots which may have also given rise to such rumours.

He put on massive muscle for the movie and did it by a strict workout regimen and eating nothing but protein. Great for him. The new him looks wonderful

Chris Hemsworth was also in a 2009 movie with Steve Zahn & Timothy Olyphant called "A Perfect Getaway". Lots of scenes of him with just shorts & sandals on, and very ripped and lean but still buff. He was much larger than shown in that younger photo someone posted earlier, but obviously not as muscular as in "Thor". I'd like to think that his build in Getaway represented his more natural, adult, filled-out body. I've been in love with Mr. Hemsworth since his very brief cameo in the 2009 "Star Trek" reboot movie as Captain Kirk's father. Glad to see he's now making it big in Hollywood.

 

If he was available for hire, I might have to mortgage my house! By the way, his brother Liam's quite handsome as well.

Floridan Thor Yarabek unleashed a fury of epic proportions on a tow-truck driver who tried to repossess his truck — storming his vehicle and firing several gunshots, according to a report Tuesday.

 

“The name of the individual that was shooting at me is Y-a-r-a-b-e-k, Thor Yarabek,” the unnamed victim said in a 911 call, according to ClickOrlando.com.

 

“Thor, like, the superhero?” the 911 operator asked.

 

“Thor, like, yeah, like the god, the Viking god,” the victim replied — adding that, like the comic book superhero, he was “huge, [in] every way.”

 

The tow-truck driver had been hauling away the massive man’s GMC truck in Melbourne at 5 a.m. when he got out to turn off its emergency brakes, the local news site reported.

 

He then saw Yarabek running toward him — but instead of an enchanted hammer, he was wielding a gun, authorities told the site.

 

The tow-truck driver, who was not injured, jumped back in his vehicle and “hauled a-s,” he told the 911 operator.

 

Yarabek later called 911, too, and reported that his truck and an attached trailer full of guns and hunting gear had been stolen from his driveway.

 

Yarabek was arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm, shooting a deadly missile into a vehicle and other charges after cops found a Springfield XD .45-caliber gun on his kitchen counter.

 

His own truck was left with a flat tire during his shooting spree, according to the site
