Many thanks! I had been wondering (suspecting actually) if this was a pattern,

where the pictures are "too good to be true"--and then, who for God sakes shows up at the door? Others on the forum say you can just give a false advertiser taxi fare when they show up at the door, but surely it must cost a lot to advertise continually like this. The math just doesn't make sense to me. Any more thoughts?

I'm sorry to keep this thread alive, but somebody explain to me the

$$ ECONOMICS $$ of "fake picture scams":

 

1) Rentboy costs how much per month for the escort?

2) If someone posts fake pictures and arrives at your door--what do they

usually get? If most clients just give them taxi fare, then the faker nets

nothing. Do some guys give a small fee like $100 or so, and send

the faker away?

 

Full disclosure again: I gave a faker his ENTIRE $300 per hour fee for

3 hours ($900) because I felt too guilty to send him away. I had the worst

three hour massage, described in my review of "Dolce Vita." I felt iike a chump. He (Dolce Vita) went away the winner. I'm sure others DON"T

do this...so how does the faker make a living?

I just can't believe it. There are really enough people, do you think, so that

the "faker" business on "Rentboy" is a real business model?

 

And one more query: I wrote a review for "DR," but I never sent a complaint to "Rentboy." Would they even listen, or just think I was a dissatisfied customer?

YES!!!! Scott Sloan has been running a similar scam for over a decade, although that one finally may have been shut down. James Nix operates a phony escort agency that was initially operating at Cupcake Escorts. The name changes but people are still falling for it over a decade later as well.

One last time: Anthony DiCarli still advertises, yet no reviews mentioned anywhere.

 

He is one of two especially hunky, muscular model types

on Rentboy. The other is DolceVita (a/k/a "Dolce Vita"--two

words) who (like an idiot) I fell for,

based solely on his headless body pictures. They are completely fake.
