I certainly second your thoughts about JAG. He is sorely missed. I have merely served as a stopgap measure. Much like the substitute teacher trying to keep control of a class full of hormone driven teenagers. 

 

First, let’s not forget to also thank Rich (doitb4ugo) for all that he has done here on the forum as well. Rich, I cannot thank you enough.

 

DD, you can trust me when I say that no one, except for Rich, understands more of what JAG has given to this forum than I do now. And no one misses him more than I do. Trying to fill 2 galleries a day, 56 pictures a day total is daunting enough. Then sorting them by thematic subject (sometimes) can be even more challenging, especially when one picture might fit two or three themes in one pic (my nightmare would be a picture of a gorgeous hairy (Hairy Men) couple (What’s Love got to do with it) with great abs (Abs-olute Perfection) walking out of the beach (Beach Scene) wearing jeans (Just Jeans). Arrrgh!)

 

JAG, my friend, I hope you have had a chance to relax, rejuvenate and recharge your batteries. I have come to truly appreciate what a herculean effort you have put forth to keep the members of the forum so entertained for so long. I can even imagine that you might even be a tad reluctant to pick up where you left off. If you are lurking, anytime you want to dive back in, feel free. However, may I make a proposal. If you want to ease your way in or even just reduce the load long-term, may I suggest job sharing? We can alternate weeks, months, or any other variation that would work for you.

 

JAG, I am only too happy to fill in until you are ready to return. But there is no one more anxious for that return than I. JAG, you are a valued member of this community. I look forward with great anticipation your return to us. And if there is anything I can do to speed that return or make it less work, please, let me know. Puh-leaze!!!!!!!!

I would never have guessed, but I can appreciate that "having a go at him" would be a lot of fun... he is so impish too! Hale and Hearty is, I believe an old "salty dog" greeting from years gone by, but it has always been one of my favorite sayings... especially when I think of some of the men I have known...
