Hi; taking some time to visit Provincetown over the 4th of July weekend. I've been there a number of times but not during the summer months. Can anyone tell me where the action is during the day, if any. Any good hot spots with hot guys? I'm a day time person so just thought I'd check, thanks.

Same post, different date. Several members of the list replied to your original April 29th post with the same question and gave their thoughts and ideas.

I'll second the recommendation for the Boatslip. Working afternoons at the Buoy bar at the Boatslip is Lawrance, one of New Orleans' best bartenders, on loan to p-town for the summer. Tell him that you've heard that he's "the best bartender ever," and he'll take care of you for the rest of your visit. Great guy.

I apologize

Sorry ED for duplicate information request. I appreciate those who have responded as I navigate to this location.

I'm sure you'll have a great time in Ptown. I've been going there for longer than I care to admit (I think the Pilgrims had just landed...LOL) but I still go back every year. You won't be bored and there's of activities to do in the daytime and you can take advantage of some "shows" in the evening. A daytime stroll up and down Commerical St. is a carnival in itself. Beware the gay daddies and mommies and their strollers! Have a terrific time..

With the long thread devoted to Fire Island, I am glad to see something about P=town now too. I've been to both places (although only on Fire Island for a day trip years ago) and P-town is just so much fun. There is so much to see and do and the food is great. I'd send the OP to the Boatslip too for daytime action (although does anyone really meet (?) anyone there?!

P-town

I have heard that this year it is a circuit boy weekend there in Ptown.

This year? ... The gay mecca hosts this traditional July 4th Circuit Weekend every year.

Lots of muscle boys and party people gather in P-town each year for that event.

The beach at end of town is gay but you have to trek through lots of bushes first. Tea Dance at the Boatslip every day at 3 is really fun.

Shows you how far out of the 'circuit' I am SD...
