Clearly, this site is on the radar of law enforcers. While I doubt that the site itself is in any real danger, the escort-users of the site may be given an increased and unwanted level of visibility.

Some recent sting operations in New York made the news, and there was a much discussed sting operation in Las Vegas. Others?

I guess what troubles me the most is this: In the United States, we have these Puritanical hang-ups about sex. Sex workers would seem to be better off in a legal but regulated setting. If there wasn't any demand, there wouldn't be any supply. Legalize, tax and regulate all the various sins. Sure seems to me to be better government.

I agree totally,i've been saying for years that prostitution should be legal especially in a place like NYC where literally tens of thousands of man-hours are spent every month processing pointless arrests of hookers and clients of both sexes when the 'thin Blue Line' could be better used in other things.

Regulate and tax ,have legalized brothels for guys n gals in a safe enviroment where things can be dealt with in a much more structured way,it may take some of the excitement out of it but it would be a hell of a lot safer for everyone concerned.

With regards to sting ops they dont happen unless someone gets a bee in their bonnet about something here in NYC i know that City Hall and 1PP have been getting criticism as they are seemed to be more 'easy'on stuff like prostitution etc than it was under Rudy G and people have been saying that NY is sliding back into what it was like in the 'bad old days'.

Its a thing that prostitutes of both sexes are easy targets for cops etc ,in fact one of the first things you tell any rookie especially if they are in Manhattan is that if they wanna get their arrest record up is to bust some hookers it dont matter if they are back on the street a few hours later it still counts and of course most street hookers/hustlers are there to earn money and if you collar them and they get fined - where do they get the money from to pay the fine-yeah from hooking !!!

I don't feel the clients have too much to be concerned with at the moment. It is the escorts and site owners that are easy targets. To get to the clients they need to go to court first and that is a lot of trouble.

At the risk of getting "too political" here - we should expect this kind of bullcrap considering the idiots in charge. We have an attorney general clearly more concerned with dressing naked statues and arresting prostitutes in New Orleans than addressing our homeland security. }>

In case you haven't heard, Falwell et al are in power these days.:-(
