I've been doing a little research amongst a couple of big spenders in relation to the $500 Escorts in NYC post over in The Deli and was thinking of starting a thread to discuss the various levels of escorting.

 

However, I'm a bit stuck finding suitable words to reference the categories. I assume most of us would have the same concept if I stated "there's no street scene in London" or "that bar is full of rentboys" but after that... I end up with low-level, mid-level, high-end, very high-end, ultra-high-end, etc. etc.

 

If I used a term such as 'demimonde' for the ultra-high-end, I think I'd be pushing my luck a bit, so any advice or invention with regards to classification would be gratefully received!

hustlers

prostitutes

rentboys

escorts

male companions

male lorettes

male geishas

courtesans

and Benjamin Nicholas

 

How does that sound?

Great discussion topic...lol. Maybe one can grade them according to cuts/types of beef: Flank/Skirt, Hanger, Prime, T-Bone, and Wagyu.

I'm still struggling with how to group, ie. I've got med students who are offering themselves up at $50 a pop showcasing on Skype (they're hardly hustlers, are they?), pornstars at $300 an hour (mid-level?), competitive bodybuilders, etc. etc.

 

I think I'll just have to go with financial remuneration and number it, ie. Level 1 (<$30) to Level 5 (if you have to ask, you can't afford it).

 

At least this side of the fence is easy, Hirers, Sponsors, Sugar-Daddies and Oligarchs.

Hey Rich, seriously. I have a little code i use in my address list for the escorts I see and i sort of list them with the following scale (a la Zagats). Instead of Food, Decor, and Service, I use: Fun, Looks, Service. All scored out of 10 points each.

 

Crass, but just like Zagats, anything above 24, will guarantee a repeat visit/call from me.
