They - The Seals - really are the most elite of the elite surpassing the famous Green Berets. I believe for those folks in the San Diego area, they are trained primarily on Coronado between Coronado and Imperial Beach. I understand it is a great place to "go 'birding' with high powered binoculars".

 

When I was in Navy in the last great war, one of the signalmen on my destroyer was in seal training for a long time before he didn't make the final cut. He had the most incredible body and consistently went shirtless on the signal bridge in tropical Western Pacific. I think I could have gotten him if it weren't an officer-enlisted situation as I am pretty sure he was at least bi. God - fond memories.
