Very clever. Even though the whole time I watched the clip I kept thinking "this would never fly" - I had forgotten about April Fools Day. Very Very clever. You got me! And thanks, I laughed out loud!

and anyway wasn 't QAF the first gay soap opera?

Armestead Maupin's TALES OF THE CITY was the first Major - GaySoap Opera - produced by PBS

derived from the books by Maupin - Maupin later sued Darren Starr of MELROSE PLACE fame - for plagarism and WON.

Melrose Place was a direct ripoff of Maupins premise and characters - Starr settled for Millions - but only a small portion

of what he earned from that series and the reputation he built and other vehicles he "plagarduced."

QAF followed years later based on a British series by the same name.

Love QAF - I grew up gay with all of those characters in the Gay Club Business

They were the models for roles of the QAF characters - Many sorely missed

after all these years . . . RIP friends of my youth . . .

Okie..Indubidably! But sadly most of the "Original Characters" are no longer in the script!

"Tales of the City" The Best even the 2nd one was good. Although I did think the Original MICHAEL did a better job with his Character.

LOGO Programming Sucks (not in a good way) so I doubt we will ever see it on that Wasted Cable Station.
