Well we are gay... cant ignore the seemier side of sears:

1) Deck out in leather and hit the eagle especially code thursdays or weekends

2) Get out your ropes paddles floggers, slappers, nipple clamps, clothes pins on sunday and hit the new york bondage club

3) Put on your dancing shoes and go grind with a stranger or two or four on the dance floor at Splash

4) Late night weekends 3-7 am take on encore and get your real debaucherous side out

5) Hit the boy bars at Adonis Club 20 or Le Boys on (thursday, sunday, wed)

6) Hell just stay in your hotel and scruff, manhunt, a4a, grindr etc and enjoy the hundreds of men within 2000 feet of you LOL

Ok I figured everyone else had covered the normal and not so normal sightseeing. But hey there is something for everyone here

Yes, we are gay, and to add to TC's steamier, seemier side of things, I'll mention some options from my last visit there (my defense being I was there with my mother):

Vast and delicious breakfast at the Waldorf

Shopping at FAO Schwarz & Tiffany's on 5th avenue (everyone needs toys, even bling ones)

Carriage ride throuh Central Park (can pick up across the street from Tiffany's in front of the Plaza hotel), they will also drop you off for a jaunt into the Gugenheim museum

Afternoon Tea at the Plaza (good tea, food, location, and attentive, gorgeous staff)

It was a gay old time with Mom. Hope you have fun.

April is also Cherry Blossom season at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. A walk through the cherry esplanade is amazing this time of year.

My favorite museum in all of New York is the Cloisters. It's an absolutely amazing castle at the northern tip of Manhattan. A must see.

Best suggestion I can come up with is find some native New Yorkers and get a taste of life here from our perspective... Life here is, itself, a special attraction.

Oh, and I volunteer my services (of the decidedly non-escort type).

I have to agree with the guys who have recommended The Cloisters (http://www.metmuseum.org/works_of_art/the_cloisters) a division of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is especially true if you are at all interested in the art and architecture of medieval Europe. The building is wonderful as is the setting overlooking the Hudson River.

Now come on guys nobody has mentioned SHOPPING. By all means stroll along Fifth Avenue and window shop. If you are old enough to remember “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” make the pilgrimage to their flagship store at Fifth Avenue and 57th Street. If you are a real romantic go early in the morning with a cup of coffee and a doughnut in hand – a la Audrey Hepburn. Take a walk through Macy’s Home Store at 1120 Avenue of the Americas. Pay special attention to the basement which includes the food court and the housewares department.

Don't Forget

If you have the time, aside from the jusual touristy things like the Em;ire State Bldg and the boat trip to the Statue of Liberty, just take a walk through Times Square (dat or night), a quick walk through Central Park, and depending on your interests... maybe a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art on 5th Ave or the Museum of Natural History -- and if downtown, a visit to South Street Seaport and Chinatown/Little Italy are always fun.

Don't Forget -

MOMA - the Museum of Modern Art

Chinatown

A Concert at Lincoln Center or Carnagie Hall

The Circle Line Tour

Off Broadway/Broadway

Macy's/Bloomies

and of Course - MEN, MEN, MEN - Hot men of all types litter every neighborhood in NYC - the Streetscape is a varitable cornacopia of hot man flesh of every vintage, hue and persuasion!

Enjoy!
