I too was shocked when I turned on my laptop this morning.

 

I hope you & all our other West Coast members stay safe and that further impact is minimal.

You all are in my thoughts. When I heard that even tsunami warnings were issued inland for Napa due to river flooding we know it's serious. To all those in the affected areas, please be safe.

I just heard from colleagues in Hawai`i and all is well there, with no significant damage, injuries, etc. There were waves up to 11 feet on some parts of Maui and the Big Island. For this we can all be thankful. However, I have many friends in Japan, but most of them are in the Tokyo area, so hopefully they will all be ok. My heart goes out to all who are suffering this terrible natural disaster.
