Today, February 3rd is Spring Festival, the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It consists of a period of celebrations, starting on New Year's Day, celebrated on the first day of the first month of the Chinese calendar.

 

2011 is the year of the Rabbit, a placid year, very much welcomed and needed after the ferocious year of the Tiger. Happy Chinese New Year !
