I'm going out of town that weekend! :) A Jets vs Bears super bowl would have been much better for DFW than this match-up!

Now that my Bears are out of the picture, I really don't give a shit!

Im about the only nyer that was routing Steelers. Remember born in WV they were the hometown team. I grew up with a terrible towel and Bradshaw and swan.

I have a very sophisticated hadicapping method - go with the cutest quarterback. I'm going with the Packers, since Tom Brady is out of the picture.

Even though NY and Chicago are the #1 & #2 cities, nobody travels better than Packer and Steeler fans. Dallas will be immersed with thousands of people from Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. You have two of the best quarterbacks and last years game in Pittsburgh was 36-35 Pittsburgh. It should be a very close exciting game with Titletown USA, Green Bay bringing the namesake, Lombardi trophy, home.

Damn, now I have to wait till next fall to watch that Sanchez ass move up the field. He is truly a hunk , so much more than a hunk. #6 is mine!

I'm picking the Steelers in a close one.

In the same vein as multiple quotes from years' past," I'm sorry. The What? Never heard of it!!"

Gman (who with answers like these doesn't have to prove or show his gay card to anyone for a year).

It's some sort of contest, but after it "Glee" comes back to finish its season so I'm looking forward to getting it over with already.

Interesting Super Bowl Article...

"Findings of the poll reveal that 78 percent of Americans plan to watch Sunday's big game, more people will be rooting for the Green Bay Packers, and that men look forward to the game more than their wedding anniversaries!"

The SAINTS! WHO DAT? Oh wait, that was last year. seriously, I am rooting for the Pack because Aaron Rogers is so hot and Big Ben is pretty much not in jail only because he is famous. Guys who do that to women I can't root for just as I could never root for Mike Vick no matter how talented he is. Pack 24 Steelers 18

The media reports greatly distorted what occurred that night. I've read relevant parts of the statements given to the police. No one disputes that the lady in question was sloppy drunk and persistant in her efforts to hook up with Ben. She even told folks that the DFS button she was wearing meant "Down For Sex." Her first statements to the police denied any rape. It was her sorority sisters, not her, who kicked up the fuss saying that she was too drunk to make good decisions.

I'm not much good at finding stuff through Google but I'll post a link to the statements if I can find one. I'm not saying that I buy Big Ben's bullshit PR statements about how he has seen the light and now walks in the way of the Lord, just that the the DA and law enforcement did a good job of investigating this incident and had good reasons to decline to bring charges.

I only watch the game if I'm at a Superbowl party and even then I prefer watching 1) the funny commercials, 2) the half-time show, and 3) the players’ spandex-covered, muscled butts. The score rarely matters to me with the exception of last year. Thankfully, the Saints winning the Big Game in 2010 was a much-needed boost to New Orleans' collective ego and self-image.
