Generally when I plan to meet an escort, I am scrupulous about personal cleanliness and hygiene (without being a nut about it, just careful).

 

I am not into certain odors, and most of the time, I like to begin with BOTH of us showering (his choice, together or separately, though I'd prefer together...). In my hotel room I always make sure there is a large quantity of clean fresh towels, shower soap, shampo etc plus a bottle of mouth rinse all available.

 

One odor I seem to have a problem with latel is found around the head of a cock (both from guys cut and uncut) -- sort of a fishy stale odor that really takes me away from wanting to suck him or do anything with him.

 

1) Is this some kind of condition?

2) While I am polite and careful at suggesting a little quick clean up with a hot face cloth and some scented soap, sometimes the odor comes back quickly. Any better remedy for this??

I went out with this one guy few years ago, only uncut guy id every gone out with and the last uncut guy i ever went out with. his dick tasted like piss and had that fishy stale odor you speak. I couldn't do it it was so bad. even so i gave it a second date. this time around i suggested a nice hot shower together. after soaping him up and washing him off really well. that dick still was gross. i gave up. I think in my head i'll always connect uncut to that experience

Yes, Joseph, that's the odor, but I found it on a guy who is cut too. Wondcer if some of the medical community know what it is??? I have seen a guy - really like him and want to do more - but he has this.

I think a couple of things could cause it. not drying off completely after a shower and left over water kinda souring. peeing and not shaking it off and dry urination forming. wearing undies to tight and sweating getting all musky. but if its still that way right out of a shower somethings up

Well it's hard to tell based on the odor only. Sometimes your diet can affect the taste of semen. If you have an inflammation it can produce foul /fishy odor. Female vaginal yeast infection can cause foul smell and sometimes a parasites such as trichomoniasis can cause it too. If men is infected with trichomoniasis then there are usually symptoms associated with it so your friend may not have it. Just communicate with him and if you think it is necessary then have him talk to his doctor about it. It's unfortunate that you found someone you like but his cock doesn't taste good. It could be just his diet too but you think the odor is abnormal then have him see a doctor. I have seen a lot of people with STDs and I wonder why they hesitate to go see a doctor about it. I don't why checking your dick once in a while in front of a mirror is so hard. Sometimes they are doctors themselves. One person had a STD so he had to pee frequently. He blamed it on his small bladder. Gosh.

Sounds like the guy is taking fish oil capsules, also known as Omega 3's. Bodybuilders take them.

 

Hmmm . . . I never thought of that one Phlmuscle, and I take fish oil capsules as part of my daily routine, too! I hope someone will let me know if I ever get a little fishy. :(

No! no no. Stay away from scented soaps, really. Especially on the cock, pits, sensitive areas. Anyway do you really want to put your mouth on those nasty fake scents? Hmm actually some believe artificial scents CAN cause changes in your sense of smell and taste. So you may be doing yourself a diservice.

 

Washing away funk is good, and water is usually sufficient, buf if you use soap it should be plain. Go ahead and wash away the normal (usually NOT fishy), natural (hopefully healthy) man smell if you don't care for it. But know that a man being a man means the smell will come back. But scented soaps? Do you really want your man smelling like a ladies powder room? Or a cheap motel that in place of honest cleaning substitutes cloying, artificial and unhealthy petrochemical (sometimes carcinogenic) air fresheners?

 

A lot of bad smell is caused by diet, and disease, but also imbalance of the natural, normal and healthy microorganisms found all over the human body. Strong soaps, especially scented ones and deoderant soaps, can hurt some allowing others to grow unchecked.

 

I would also recommend increasing ones intake of greens.

My sympathies, Adriano, I know exactly what are you talking about and being blessed with a 'supernatural' olfactory myself is a major inconvenience in this circumstance. This bad odor is caused by a bacteria and you're correct that even washing with soap and water doesn't really help. The bad odor comes back quickly after. The solution is getting a special anti-bacterial liquid soap from the pharmacy and take care of head of the penis and the foreskin by washing and drying carefully a few times every day. After a few days the bad odor will disappear. Some specialists recommend washing the penis with soap and hot water after each "use".

Many chain pharmacy stores here (CVS, Duane Reede etc...) carry liquid soaps that say "kill 98% of all bacteria" etc... I am not sure there is a specific soap but many of these, especially the hand soaps, are advertised as strongly anti-bacterial.
