Lots to think about...

 

With more and more attention being focused on "gay teen suicide", I view this as a very relevant video... If I were teaching a course on this topic, I could see using it as a way to open a discussion on many gay issues/topics.

 

I was especially moved by the conversation between Jack and the girl whose mother committed suicide when he asked her if she would want to know something about her mom that could be viewed as "bad". Her answer, "I would still love my mother regardless...." You could really sense Jack's struggle as to whether or not he should tell Matt's parents that their son was gay and perhaps help them to better understand the conflict their son was going through. Since we don't know if a suicide note was left or if the parents were struggling to find answers, I wonder what would be the right thing to do in this case?

 

Lots more can be gained from viewing this video and yes, a very serious issue but a truly thought provoking one.... Thanks BC for sharing it.

Too Serious? Hell no. Its great, relevant and timely. We need much more of this stuff. The problem with this site is that since Lucky and a few others have left is that it is no longer interesting beyond available dick for sale. What this place needs is a lot more of this type of thing.

It is a deeply moving video that needs to be seen. I remember that show but never saw this storyline. He said it was 2003 I think. Wow, I think so many people need to see it. And I thank you for showing it to us.
