Hi Peter,

Thanks for the pictures from Hamilton. It is close to Hayman, which I mentioned before. Actually, when you go to Hayman, you fly into Hamilton and are then met at the airport and taken to a private launch that takes you to Hayman. Check in was on the launch while sipping Champagne and being served some tasty snacks to whet your appetite for what is to come. You will love the tour of the Reef, and wish you would have a chance to snorkel or scuba there. I know you are enjoying yourself, but travel safely!

Hi DD,

It is very close to Hayman Island, indeed. In fact, I took a helicopter tour over 3 island - also saw the heart shaped reef - and landed on an isolated island next to the Hayman Island which was incredible. I have to transfer the pics from my camera and will post it here... It was simply incredible! Except the fact that I got sunburnt and now I am red as a crab :D

Will post some pictures tomorrow!

XOXO and greetings from Sydney now :) Will go for bridge climbing tomorrow ;)

Peter,

I have a passion for travel myself, just don't get to do it enough in these challenging economic times it seems, :( and have enjoyed following your "Kiwi-land" thread. Take care of that sunburn and thanks for the opportunity to do some vicarious travel.

The rest of the pictures of me were all taken when I looked like a crab (that red) so I would not upload them...

Hi guys,

I quickly would like to thank you for all the emails and PMs I got from you being concerned about the floods and cyclones in Australia & New Zealand. I am delighted to say that I was able to avoid all of them successfully. Currently I am on a more calm part of Australia - Perth. After Hamilton Island, Sydney, Melbourne I got to Perth yesterday. Today I headed out to Dunsborough - Bunker bay... the view is - neithless to say - incredible! Pictures from Melbourne:
