2nd market for NYC TV show tapings?

I understand that for the most part one probably has to know someone to score most of the tickets for shows such as Saturday Night Live or the Daily Show, but is there a place where people who have tickets will sell them on the secondary market? I haven't come up with anything on a google search.

Do they even *have* tickets to be sold?

 

When I've attended tapings in L.A. there's just a list. You're told the date, time, and gate where to show up and your name is on the list.

 

There *may* not be anything to actually sell.

I would just assume that some people have tickets that they no longer want (or never want in the first place) and would be willing to sell them....

Well, in the LA experience, they either give out more free tickets than they have seats or they have only a guest list by name. My last taping was a 2-1/2 Men shoot. I was guest listed and needed to show id to enter the property.

You assume they have tickets, and that isn't a safe assumption. They're just on a list.

I've only used it to buy discount Broadway tickets but it looks like they offer TV tickets as well. There's a small ($4) fee to be a member but may be worth a try.
