I'm planning a mini-getaway for my upcoming birthday in February. The print campaign for the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has caught my attention.

Has anyone stayed at the property yet and/or used the spa facilities? I'd love to hear your reviews.

Hey my dear,

Yes, their facilities are incredible. Very "bar-oriented" place and I would definitely recommend you to check it out, you would love it!!!! If I am here physically, I would be more than happy to meet up with you as I did not have a chance (or I should say TIME) in New York City. Sorry I could not help you out about the "SPA", do not think many of us have tried it.

XOXO

I am going to be in Las Vegas next week, and although I am not staying there, I will try to "check it out" and get back to you with my observations. Enjoy your birthday get away...which I am sure you will once the word gets about about this "vacation" ~!

Many thanks Diverdan. I'll await your review. See if you can get in touch with that naked bellman they have in their print ads; I'd like him to carry more than just my bags.

I will be in LV in 2 weeks, but staying, this trip, at the Aria. I looked into the Cosmopolitan but they were not offering any deals which made it worth my while. The Aria, however, gave me an incredible deal for airfare and room. That said, I will try to get over the the Cosmopolitan while I am there and check it out. I, too, love their TV ads.

Ed, thanks so much. Yes, I was a bit surprised to see the Cosmopolitan is not offering what I would call "soft-opening" deals or new property rates. The reviews I have found on the various travel sites are not that steller, but I would be willing to give them a chance just based on their print campaign....very clever. Quirky is good in my book.

On my recent trip to Las Vegas, I had the opportunity to tour the Cosmopolitan property.....for once, I didn't have to sleep my way through a resort! The Cosmopolitan is truly a great property. Not exactly luxury in the old world sense of the Wynn's and the Bellagio, but truly a great space. Where else in Vegas can you have a full size Subzero in your two bedroom hotel suite? And really wonderful bathrooms with very roomy showers (cough cough hint hint). Just thought I'd give an update for inquiring minds.

Brandon, I got the 'cough, cough, hint, hint' but just what the hell are we going to do with the second bedroom?

Glad you had a good time for your birthday. I did not get a chance to check out the Cosmopolitan when I was there in January as I promised, which is why I didn't post anything. I have the same questions as instudiocity... what to do with the second bedroom?
