... that 18 year old i dated suffered from bipolar. I had this silly shit in my head ... that all i have too do is love them treat them well and all their pain would go away.

 

... in the end, i concluded he truly was a bipolar sociopath.

the more i loved him , the more i spoiled him, and the more i treated him like a rockstar, the worse he became.

 

and trust me, after serious analyzing of the relationship, i realized that i had NOT changed one single bit in our two years....i just got better and better, nicer and nicer, richer and richer. ...

 

But unmedicated bipolar type-1 can do that.

Rule #1 - Never think you can change anyone - You can only help, IF they are willing to accept it.

Rule #2 - Define what is HELPFUL versus what is ENABLING.

Rule #3 - Don't through the gasoline of sex on a wildfire. Either you're helping or your having sex.

Rule #4 - Plan ahead and set a limit. When the limit is reached, cut bait.

 

I can write volumes about helping a friend's suicidal, bi-polar son; how he went from an alcohol-and-drug induced suicide attempt to honors college graduate in just seven years, but 'I' am not the principal actor. Just a supporting role.

I even had this one guy i date laid his head in my lap one saturday afternoon and cried over how the last 2 guys he dated cheated on him and how hurt he was over it. Even his mom told me when we first met please be good too my son and how the last 2 guys cheated on him and hurt him so much. one guess why i broke up with him 6 months later?

Dude, I had my boyfriend say to my face: "cheating is wrong. i will never cheat on you. i would break-up with you before i ever considered cheating on you" ...WHILE HE WAS CHEATING ON ME!!!....he said all this jsut minutes after he *DID* cheat on me, right before i arrived to have sex with him! Freaking gross, and very hurtful.

 

How can anyone do that to another human being, especialy one that was so in love with them ,and so nice to them?

yup he was cheating on me, not just cheating on me. i found out he lost his job and he put a escort ad up on the craiglist. i found the ad, printed the ad out and I went straight over too his mothers house and I told her b4 her son came by with his sad story I wanted her to know the real deal. I gave her his escort ad, left went over to his house and gave him a ad copy and broke his nose

I had dinner with a guy once i met on line that came over picked me up drove over to the restaurant. about 20 minutes into the meal something didn't sound right, i asked him if he was in a relationship? he said kinda, i said kinda my ass, I walked out on the date and walked the 2 miles back to my apartment. Every guy iv dated has cheated on me but for 1 and he died 3 years into the relationship i took it as a sign

I actually don't have a beard right now, normally clean shaven everyday. I wanted too see how Id look with facial hair so I didn't shave for 3 days then snapped a pic. It's a look I'm actually thinking about keeping.

Tired but happy....

 

My ex's ex who is around 72 met this 20 year old on Silverdaddies and it seems to be working out great. And the young guy (who is barely out) seems heels over head (quite literally). I am certain that money is NOT changing hands. They all think I am insane for what I do.... but I am pretty sure that my ex's ex is spending more than I do on my hobby on Viagra....

I had a friend he and his partner were together 8 years when they broke up in 09 their age difference was 20 years. My friend just let himself go. gained over 100lbs went and got a bunch of tattoos and body piercings. stopped wanting to go out, just wanted to sit and home and do nothing now finds himself alone. To date them young ones you have to think young as well. Since I can't dance and don't drink I refuse to taking any part in the club scene. I tend to try to find the young ones that hate bars and club too. I try to plan other things that we can do together. movies, dinners, road trips, amusement parks, rock concerts since i'm so into horror and sci fi I look for those into that as well.
