Thanks countryboywny, the feeling is mutual... Here in NY there's a group that occassionally meets up on Wednesdays at Le Boyz, Thursdays at Adonis, Sundays at the 20C and sometimes for a private party... We usually have dinner first. If you or anyone else is interested just shoot me a pm.... In the mean time, enjoy your DC lunch. I compliment all of you for making this happen.

Thanks Coop. It's been a blast actually herding these cats to Monday. I'm so thrilled with the number of guests and the people who are attending individually. It really is more than I was hoping for. And there is still room for more. There are several DC residents I know are out there I haven't heard from. There's still time to join us -- hell, just walk into Annie's on Monday and we'll figure it out too. I doubt they'll have too many tables for 12 at 11:15 so figuring out which is our group shouldn't be all that hard. Or you can PM anytime this weekend. And to all of those who are coming, thanks for joining our merry little band and I'm really looking forward to meeting each and every one of you. It is a great collection of gentlemen. See you on Monday. And Coop -- next time you can come on down.

I would like to publicly thank the attendees at today's DC luncheon: Poolboy21409, Buckguy, ArVAGuy, Hoover42, NYTomcat, Countryboywny, the legendary Dave, and Brandon Williams. I think I can safely say we had a great time meeting each other and talking. I was great to meet people we had much in common with. I hope to be able to organize some sort of DC area function sometime this summer, so if other DC residents want to join in then, let me know, or if you have any suggestions let me know.

 

In the meantime, thanks again to all who attended. It was wonderful to meet each and evvery one of you and look forward to seeing you all again in the summer.

Sounds like you guys had great fun. I wish I could have been there... but my next trip to DC is not until February, as you know, Lee... maybe we can get a group together then, at least for the folks in the DC area!! Wish I could have been there today.

Many thanks to "l.b.t." for shepherding this event so nicely. As a relative newbie to the Forum and the "site", I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone and sharing some great stories and good laughs. Tomcat - had I known you were going to leave in an ice storm, you could have bunked at my place.

 

Maybe I can host a "pool party" this summer if I can get the pool to myself for a day!!

It really was a blast. There were a few connections made that I think will last long beyond lunch, which is what I was hoping for but didn't know if it could happen. The guys were absolutely amazing. And this was the first of many such events to come. But next we'll have to pry you loose from NYC and have you come down with Tomcat.

 

So nationally we're all getting together in Palm Springs. The New York guys get together. The DC guys hopefully have something stared here. Any other cities want to join in?
