Indianapolis..... Thanks guys for coming back after a short break from our last tour of your great city just 2 weeks ago.

 

Congrats on being the home of the 2012 SUPERBOWL... (not only was it a MASSIVE posted banner, but I was actually confronted by mall security as I was taking a picture of a frog fountain and actually told I needed to present my drivers license to the security center to verify that I am who it states I am and have a background check ran to ensure I am NOT a terrorist trying to plant explsoive devices in small toads.) ... funny to me with my 8 years of service to this country!!

 

Although BLITZING cold, this city really somes through for us and our greatest thanks to you all!

 

Recommendations>>>> St. Elmos. Pricey, but a great atmosphere, fantastic wine, and famous since 1902. The hand carved hard wood bar is beautiful and the service staff..Flawless. Thanks a million times over, again, and well keep you all informed when passing through again..

Nashville.... Dane and I truly apologize that we were unable to include your city in our tour. As we mentioned in the travel section, the fear of potential police stings in the area caused us to redirect that part of our tour to Knoxville, TN!

 

Knoxville....home of the 1982 Worlds Fair! A bustling city that from the highway looks rundown and disappointing....but when you actually get into downtown and the surrounding areas, you realize that the city is thriving with life, character, and great hospitality! By far the pinnacle of our stay in Knoxville was meeting and spending time with Snake28! Thanks so much for being an incredible guy, for hanging out with us and showing us around the city! Your advice on restaurants and attractions were spot-on and we had the best trip because of it!

 

If you any of you are ever in the Knoxville area, we highly recommend visiting the Sunsphere...a gold-dusted structure that overlooks the city and has picturesque views of the Great Smokey Mountains! Across the street from the Sunsphere you will find a whimsical chocolate factory that will take you back to your childhood!

 

Restaurants you cant pass up: Lakeside Tavern....incredible seafood with a million-dollar view. Preservation Pub....great live music as long as you can tolerate the smokey atmosphere. Calhoun's - Great BBQ and microbrew!

We have finished our second tour! After a few days of much needed R&R, its time to recap on our great experiences!

 

Atlanta - "hot-lanta" as it has been deemed over the years was very much that....except for the blistering cold and harsh winds.... Dane and I had a great time walking around the city going from starbucks to starbucks in order to stay warm. If any of you get the opportunity to travel to Atlanta, we highly recommend visiting the Coca-cola factory where you can try samples of all the coke flavors that are sent all over the world. We knew that each country had its own variety of Coke and other soft drinks, but we were both extremely and pleasantly surprised with just how different the flavors really are. As far as dining goes, you HAVE to visit Nan Thai....named after its infamous chef....has some of the best thai food that we have ever tried.

 

Asheville - Thanks to Flguy for an unforgettable candlelit tour of Biltmore. Neither Dane or myself had ever visited Biltmore, but the experience was incredible. Its hard to describe just how massive the residence is and the idea of a single family living there bewilders me. As we walked through the house, the Christmas decorations alone were enough to make our jaws drop.... Before any of you visit the estate, make sure that you have dinner at a restaurant called The Corner Kitchen in the Biltmore Village. Dane destroyed the duck platter and I couldn't resist the salmon.

 

Charlotte - thanks for wrapping up our tour on the highest note possible. If you visit the epicenter in downtown Charlotte, make sure to stop in the Blackfinn Restaurant....great atmosphere, delicious drinks, and extremely friendly waitstaff.

If you ever happen to find yourself in Columbus, SC stay at the Sheraton down town. It is gorgeous and historic. What a great city and friendly people every where. As both myself and Ryaan were pretty busy, we did make some time for a lil' bar called PT's 1109. Located very conveniently down town with one hell of a hot bar tender that makes a very stiff Gin and tonic that will knock your socks right off... Thanks Ken!!!

 

So, myself and Ryaan are obviously back on tour, this time South Carolina. Hope all out there are enjoying families and the holiday season.. And from Ryaan and I HO! HO! HO! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!! And we'll keep you all posted on our travels
