That room-mate who sent out the video seemed to have a foreign-sounding name (Dharun Ravi). I can't seem to find out if he's a U.S. citizen or some exchange student. Have any of you heard one way or another?

 

Yes, because real Americans have names like John and Mary. Why is that an issue? Let's not blame the bullying epidemic on immigration now.

I've seen no evidence SO FAR that this is anything more than a stupid college prank gone terribly wrong.

 

This is what he tweeted: “Roommate asked for the room till midnight, I went into molly’s room and turned on my webcam. I saw him making out with a dude. Yay.”

 

Tyler was outed and then publicly humiliated for being gay. This is far from a prank gone wrong.
