This entire thread reminds me of a scene from The Women. (MGM 1939)

worthy of a supermarket tabloid.

If you think ANY part of this board is different from the tabs - you are living in La La Land.

>And yes, to an extent, homophobic, trying to enforce the rules of a >society which was set up in part to keep us down and in our place.

Since when was making a personal observation the equivilant of "trying to enforce rules..........."

You take yourself MUCH to seriously, sir!

Congratulations - you have just posted the biggest piece of crap drivel I have ever seen on this board - even exceeding some of my own!

Fuck off Donnie! You know bloody well what I was saying.

Would all of you who actually think that FFF meant what he was saying literly rather than figurativly please confirm by replying to this post? Donnie seems to need some proof!

>Interesting choice of words. Why was FFF so pissed off at

>Tony for being effeminate that he wanted to kill him?

Maybe his stilletos were higher than his? And what's so interesting about my choice of words? What hidden inner anger are you about to uncover here, shrink?

Will, thanks for creating a thread far more interesting than the usual crap that gets posted here. I say that even though I don't agree with a single word in your post.

I hire hookers every once in a while and come here because I'm mildly curious about the experiences of other johns. To say that this site is a vital resource for gay men doesn't make much sense to me because in my experience most gay men don't hire hookers. Certainly all the gay men I know think prostitution and those involved in it are sleazy and should be avoided.

I don't go out of my way to insult any particular poster the way several of the people who've posted in this thread do. I also don't buy the 'abuse excuse' that you put in your post. If gay men are vicious to other gay men it's because of the abuse they've taken from the straight world? Bullshit. If particular gay men are vicious it's because they're vicious people, period. It doesn't surprise me to find plenty of visitors here who are jerks. This board is about hookers and one of the main reasons people hire hookers is because they can't get along with other people and can't have real relationships.

I also don't buy this idea that gay men who don't like the flamboyant or effeminate types are homophobic. I've heard the same thing said about 'assimilated' Jews who find Hasidim hard to take and about African Americans who don't like rap and the other 'gangsta' affectations. People who want extreme behavior to be accepted have this tendency to use that behavior as the definition of an entire community and to say that anyone who doesn't like that behavior hates the entire community. Bullshit again. No one awarded you the exclusive right to define being gay and to label anyone who doesn't like your definition a homophobe, so kindly stop doing that.

This thread got me thinking about the abuse I endured from grade school through high school. In grade school I was constantly called sissy, then queer in middle school and faggot in high school. I never really tried to fit in with the other guys. I kind of just did my own thing.During recess you'd find me with a gang of girls jumping rope or playing hopscotch. The boys were always too rough for me.

I remember the pain all too clearly. I didn't understand at the time why they were so mean to me, but now I do.

Strange how things work out. Now, according to some of my reviews, I'm quite masculine. I've had several clients ask me if I was really gay. Most people I meet assume I am straight. Recently though, some neighborhood boys(ages 6-11) had stopped by my business and one of them said to me, "my friend thinks you're gay". I started to laugh.

I said, "why does he think that?", "because you were standing like this(hand on hip)and you always wear those jeans(my Diesel rock-star jeans). He didn't know how to respond when I said, "maybe I am gay, do you have a problem with that?"

I'm not sexually attracted to gay men who have feminine mannerisms. I get off on hyper-masculine men who seem totally unaware of their good looks and their masculinity. There appear to be alot of gay men who got their How to be a Big Flaming Homo handbook in the mail and memorized every word. In other words, their mannerisms seem affected.

That's when it really annoys me. I just want to smack them around and tell them that it's OK to just be yourself. We all didn't come out of the womb, limp-wristed, lisping and skipping(which, by the way, took me along time to learn). It's cool if that's how they've always been, but I've seen how differently some gay men act when they're in a predominantly gay scene versus a straight one. I cringe when I'm somewhere and overhear conversations between gay men loaded with "gay-speak" and "girl" this and "sister" that. I've been working hard correcting one of my masculine-looking friends who has picked up some of those annoying affectations.

But, I don't believe it's right for someone who hasn't had any direct experience with an escort to post something regarding his alleged mannerisms. It would have been more appropriate for someone who had hired him to mention such a thing in a review.

Of course you don't want me to point at the joke. That would be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Oh, sorry. What do you call a "newspaper" printing nude pictures of a celebrity taken with a high powered lense. This strikes me the same as that, what ever it's called.

Tony/Miami, although looking like a tough guy,

Just in case I don't take your hints to shut my mouth. Don't point at this. Don't speculate on other people's psyches. Don't sound like a victim. Don't sound like you mind back seatdrivers.

Sincerely, I shall belong to a hell of a lot of people before I am ever yours,

I was pretty much with you up to here (the room was spinning the whole time). You must have missed that the point of my initial thread was that I was confirming what TWO OTHER reviewers had already said about Tony. (Yikes, that's an awkward sentence!) My observation was from weeks ago and I had not felt any need to share my observation until I had read his review that morning.

Clarifyingly yours,

Yes, I read all of Tony's reviews under Miami and New York. I believe there is only ONE reviewer(a 1st timer)who mentions anything about feminine qualities in his review. Traveller acknowledges the "lisp"(he felt it was a Spanish/Castillian? thing) in his post to that thread, but apparently didn't feel it necessary to mention it in his actual review of Tony.

I just feel that certain things regarding escorts should be left to the clients who have hired them. If you had hired him and then mentioned the handbags and Bergdorf Goodman in your review, I'd be fine with that.

I just read this whole thread and the one in the Deli. Rick said that your post was gay-bashing. I don't see his position ever wavering. I see no twisting of words, other than what you're doing to him now.

>it's the action of a coward

I think cowardice is an escort hiding behind the cloak of anonymity and the fake name "Fin Fang Foom" while he attacks the competition.

I agree, Taylor. In fact, he makes some valid points. Sadly, though, the thing that hurts the arguments on both sides of this & all serious topics is the rancor with which it is usually slung. Pity. Remove that and we could have some real good dialog on this site. That said, however, FFF's description of the Miami escort...
