One of this boards finest has apparently run a background check and discovered some information that could be used as serious ammo if improperly distributed with ill intent, missing dates and other necessary facts. First of all why is this "escort" running a background check on me, or did his lawyer do it for him? This is precisely the behind the scenes activity that I find most corrosive and subject to serious question. One should be entitled to the opportunity to defend himself when this type of character defamation is occurring behind the curtain. and any and all findings of such behavior should be exposed at once. It's not right and completely unacceptable. Exposing myself, yes. I own my garbage, it's being spread without my consent with ill intent, and his own agenda in mind.

I can understand your frustration, Ryan, but it is not at all clear what is being done or why. What do you suspect he plans to do? I suggest you call and ask him. It might allay your fears, and he might be unwilling to use it against you if he knows you will trace it to him.

I hear you loud and clear. Some time ago I was trying to suggest indirectly here that sharing private information about fellow escorts and clients is UNACCEPTABLE. Such behavior goes beyond my number one principle of privacy and discretion. Most people don't have an idea what's going on behind the scenes, they see only one facet of a beautifully crafted and fake persona. When private information is shared with an ill intent this speaks more about the person spreading it. We should condemn such behavior, not venerate it. I can clearly see that if he's "gossiping" about one particular person, he's certainly doing the same thing about YOU behind your back. Consistent behaviors become habits, and habits are hard to break.

Sorry, but what's the purpose of this post? All it does is make vague accusations about corruption behind the scenes. You say someone ran a background check & found out informaiton that 'could' be used to damage your reputation. it's not clear from your post if the information IS being used to defame you or not. Also, it's not clear IF there is actual defamation, or just the possibility of it.

Just to be clear - I'm totally opposed to sharing anyone's personal information without their consent (unless, perhaps, lack of knowledge puts someone else in jeopardy.)

But saying that unnamed persons are?/may be?/could be? doing unethical things doesn't do much except sow suspcision and distrust.

(by the way - how did you find out about the background check?)

Hey Brooklyn Guy... Where's the best place to have Pizza in your neck of the woods... Though I do like Thai food... and both Italian and Thai do have a connection with basil... The burger I could do without... but then again a hamburger pizza with basil will do and cover all the bases!!!!!!!

This rumor has been brought to me a few times, and I haven't been able to find the source. This information factually stated by the escort himself in an email to me today, left no doubt that he was the PI who so intelligently dug it up. His lawyer counterpart was surely involved. This escort has a history of this underhanded marketing behavior and is no poster boy for sugar & Spice and everything nice.

 

He now claims He was told by a client that I had informed. I would never offer that to a client I didn't know VERY well and it would have been presented properly and vaguely. Your golden boy is not so golden. It doesn't matter how it is being spread it is awe full and confirms my claim to this backstage slaughter of a mans character. WITHOUT the opportunity of defense or redemption.

 

Play the pizza game all you want, it fits you all well, just another display of your integrity and level of maturity.

 

DavidSF was forced into an apology with these venomous serpent fangs as well, but not before it was posted and then conveniently removed.

As someone who values privacy, I'm curious how you know he (or someone for him) did a background check.

 

I know I can go to the credit agencies and found out who has run my credit report. But, where do you go to find out if someone is doing a background check?

 

I know there are sights that claim to be able to do this for a fee. But, does anyone know how accurate they are?

I think the the point was not literal violence, but an earlier example of one escort accusing another of trashing him.

 

Me being dangerous in person has been mentioned a couple of time, and is far from anything close to accurate
