When I first starting hiring, I am sure I was like many of you in hiring street boys. It was very exciting when I first started. I met some shady characters and I met some bois that were gorgeous beyond words. I often wondered what happened to some of them. Did they get on with their lives? Were they still selling their asses?

AS part of my online activities, I did a little searching and came across this nifty site. During my last trip to Orlando, I noticed that it seemed as though some of the old hustler areas seemed dried up. I see now that they only moved.

And what do you know? Some familiar faces!!

On this page, we have:

http://www.cityoforlando.net/police/vice-prost_apr2002.htm

$5 Fred, #15 on the list

(He got the nickname $5 Fred from me. I was heading home from the Parliament House and he flagged me down. He was desoerate for cash. I told him I had only $5. He said he'd blow me for it. He did. I don't know how that got around though, tee hee)

Second from the last, is Ricky "Jerry" Barnett.

He was a little conartist from the word go. Gave me one hell of a blowjob on our first date, but after that.....

A couple of the others look familiar.

In any case, it just disturbs me that four years later, they are still selling their asses for next to nothing, buying crack with it, and have nothing to show for it. Maybe I should drop them each a 7.0 CD?

What a sicko society we live in!

Who publishes these listings? The City of Orlando, it looks like.

What is the purpose? Does anyone even care who has been arrested?

And seeing as they post their photos, along with their birth dates and names - AND STATE THEY HAVE ONLY BEEN ARRESTED, NOT YET CONVICTED - I'm surprised the city can't be sued.

Sick Sick Sick - only in God fearing, Christian America!

If no one cares who has been arrested then there's no reason for the arrestees to worry about having their pictures published. The theory behind it is that they will find it embarrassing. What would they sue the city for? Adult arrest records are not confidential.

Hardly. Other countries have been using similar techniques for years. In Singapore they used to have a system of cameras outside public bathrooms that would automatically photograph people who used them and failed to flush. They would publish the pictures on the front pages of local newspapers to shame them. In Britain the police use surveillance cameras in public places to a much greater extent than in America. People in Europe and Asia seem much less sensitive about such practices than Americans.

Sounds like you are pleased that "Big Brother is Watching YOU"

Point is, suggesting America is the only country or the principal country to use these methods is contrary to the facts. As for whether this is a good thing for the authorities to be doing, the message seeems to be that if you want your private activities to stay private, do them in private not in public.

I was thinking the same thing actually. It would seem that this is supposed to be a deterrent, yet it lists quite precisely for you where to find the hustlers and the tearooms. With advance knowledge, you could easily pick up a trick without the police getting ivlolved and heck, you already know what the hustlers look like! Thanks OTown!

yep!it seems so obvious doesn't it.i think in some people it's just a lack of respect for others.

I can agree with that to a point, especially where the activities in Kittinger Park are concerend. However, why post pictures of prostitutes? They obviously don't care. If you look at the different months you will several of them have been arrested more than once. Prostitution is a victimless crime. It would be nice if our society could just wise up and make it legal.

I can pull several reviews of escorts being turned away for far less reasons than looking like you have been beaten in the face and have the look of a crack head after 7 days with no sleep like the pictures posted in these pages

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++oh yea i agree ,i should have been a little clearer.unless somebody is doing it in a public place,or shaking there dicks at passerbys,or generally being disruptive;i sure as hell agree with you .we should be more concerned with dangerous people like john-boy ashcroft.
