RIP John Summers

I just read on Gay Porn Blog, that John Summers passed away yesterday. He certainly influenced porn and thus escorting, as presenting an ideal that many men still "shop" for. I never read much on him and was surprised he and John Travis ran boy brothels in 60-70's.

 

Too bad I was too young to visit SF in those days.

There's a post about him over at MuscleService.com under his real name. Very interesting guy from what I understand. Googled his real and porn moniker and there's a bit of information that would make for one heck of a good book.

 

Someone at MS commented that some powerful people in Hollywood were likely having his house scrubbed for confidential information. Sounds like this guy was a real character. And if he did weigh 420 pounds that's a lot of character to go around.
