Chicago Boy's Town Hotels

Are there any decent hotels in the Chicago Boy's Town area? I've looked on all the normal travel sites but can't find anything decent close to the bars. Seems like all the nice hotels are Michigan avenue or the loop.

It depends on how you define "nice".

 

If clean, secure, and reasonably priced will do, check out the Holiday Inn Hawthorne Terrace.

 

Also, the Willows (formerly the Surf).

 

Both are adquate and just a couple of blocks off the boystown strip.

 

If you're talking four-star nice, then you'll have to be downtown.

In addition to the Willow that Deej mentioned there is the Majestic (my favorite) Very boutique. It's also a bit closer to the action than the Willow. Neither have room service or a restaurant but both offer continental breakfast and evening snacks in the lobby.

 

The Best Western Hawthorne Terrace is nice but I've never cared much for their beds. ;-)
